1、 Core processing technology

1. Precision forging process:

For complex structural components such as TC18 titanium alloy, a split die surface design and multi-stage forging are adopted to improve material utilization and forming accuracy by optimizing the spindle shaped blank structure.

The pre forging stage reduces subsequent machining allowance through groove and surface design, while the final forging stage combines high convex platform and U-shaped groove to achieve complex geometric feature forming.

2. Numerical Control Machining:

The titanium aluminum alloy target material adopts constant linear speed CNC turning and vacuum suction cup fixing technology to avoid brittle material chipping and ensure surface integrity and dimensional accuracy.

2、 Mainstream production process flow

1. Raw material processing: Select TA1, TA2 pure titanium or TC4, TB2 alloys, etc., and prepare rods or plates through melting and forging.

2. Forming stage:

Hot forging: Alpha - β alloy requires heating at 800-950 ℃ for hot forging, suitable for high-strength bolts and aviation forgings.

Cold heading forming: The metastable β alloy can be cold headed at room temperature, reducing energy consumption and improving production efficiency.

3. Precision machining and surface treatment:

CNC lathe milling composite machining achieves high-precision forming of irregular parts.

Polishing, anodizing and other processes enhance corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

3、 Materials and Product Types

1. Material classification:

Industrial grade: TC4, TC18.

Civilian grade: TA1/TA2 pure titanium, TB2.

2. Typical products:

Standard parts: external hexagon bolt, self tapping screw, gasket.

Customized parts: implant connectors, chemical reactor flanges.

4、 Application scenarios and advantages

Aerospace: TC18 forgings are used for aircraft load-bearing structures, balancing lightweight and fatigue resistance.

Chemical and Shipping: Titanium flanges and valves have a lifespan 5-10 times longer than stainless steel in acidic media.
